<description><![CDATA[<br /><div style="text-align: center;"><strong>CAMPAIGN CENTRAL FOR THE JUNE 5 PRIMARY</strong></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />The UFCW has graciously offered the use of their facility at:<br /><blockquote><br />705 W. Arrow Hwy, Claremont, CA</blockquote><br />for certain campaign activities prior to the Primary Election.<br /><br />The Democratic Club of Claremont will lead a group of volunteers in phone banking, precinct walking, hosting of Coffees and fundraisers.  Candidate literature will be displayed and available during the hours that volunteers are present.<br /><br />Phone banking will begin Tuesday April 10, 2012.<br /><br />Days &amp; hours will be:<br /><br /><ul><li>Tuesdays: 4PM - 8PM (<strong>New Hours!</strong>)</li><li>Wednesdays: 1PM - 6PM</li><li>Thursdays: 1PM - 5PM</li><li>Fridays: 1PM - 5PM</li></ul><br />On Saturdays we will be walking precincts as soon as materials and walk sheets become available.  Meeting place will be in the back parking lot of the Union building.<br /><br />Please contact Carol Whitson 909-263-1773 to indicate your area of interest and availability.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />Your Active Participation Matters NOW</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />Connect with a candidate and campaign NOW.  Choose to make a difference NOW.  Be part of a winning team NOW.  We have a Democratic voter registration advantage in our Assembly, State and Congressional Districts.  An advantage is not enough.  We need volunteers NOW to connect with voters, engage Democrats and get their committment to vote on Tuesday, June 5.  We've got great candidates to support, so make a choice today to be a part of their winning campaigns.<br /><br /></div><br />]]></description>

It asks them to consider a return to the view of our society first advocated by our nation's Founders: The view of America as a Commonwealth in which we all work together to create a better, more peaceful and just world for ourselves and for our children. Based upon a wide array of polls and other data, we are confident that this is a vision most Americans now share. </strong> <br /><br /> <strong> Too often, those of us engaged in trying to effect change focus only on one particular issue of immediate concern at a time.
